Disney Cruise Line Announces Fleetwide Policy Updates Beginning June 3
Disney Cruise Line is introducing several policy updates across its fleet beginning June 3. The changes impact onboard alcohol allowances, use of selfie sticks and tripods, and stateroom decoration guidelines, with rollout dates varying by ship.
Alcohol Policy Updates
Guests ages 21 and older may now bring onboard either one unopened bottle of wine or champagne (up to 750 ml) or six beers (up to 12 oz each) at embarkation. All alcoholic beverages must be packed in carry-on luggage.
The dining room corkage fee has been updated to $20 per bottle, down from $29.
Alcohol purchased at ports of call will continue to be held by the cruise line and returned to Guests at the end of the voyage.
These updates align Disney Cruise Line more closely with broader cruise industry standards while still offering flexible options for Guests.

- June 3 – Disney Fantasy
- June 4 – Disney Adventure and Disney Magic
- June 5 – Disney Wish
- June 6 – Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny
- June 8 – Disney Dream and Disney Wonder
Selfie Sticks & Tripods
Selfie sticks, handheld extension poles, and tripods are permitted onboard and may be used in most areas as long as they are folded and under 18 inches in length.
Items longer than 18 inches must be stored in staterooms and may only be used while ashore.
Stateroom Decorations
Disney Cruise Line continues to encourage Guests’ creativity with stateroom door decorations, a long-standing onboard tradition.
However, for safety and accessibility reasons, decorations are permitted only on stateroom doors and are not allowed on hallway walls or ceilings. All decorations must follow existing onboard guidelines.
