Standing three decks tall, the storybook castle has officially found its home at the heart of Disney Imagination Garden aboard the Disney Adventure. This stunning centerpiece is the first of its kind across the Disney Cruise Line fleet—an enchanting art piece that brings some of Disney’s most beloved fairytales to life at sea.
Created by Walt Disney Imagineering, the castle draws inspiration from the iconic designs seen in Disney Parks and films around the world. Its intricate, paper cut-out style evokes the charm of a pop-up storybook, inviting guests to step right into their own tale of adventure.
The design celebrates both the spirit of the sea and the timeless storytelling Disney is known for. From the flowing wave patterns that frame its base to the deep ocean blues that color its facade, every detail pays tribute to the beauty and motion of water—perfect for the first-ever Disney castle at sea.
At the castle’s center sits the Disney family crest (just like the ones featured on Disney Park castles worldwide!) along with a breathtaking three-panel stained-glass window. Each panel honors a different Disney heroine:
- Moana, represented by the ocean, sky, and the heart of Te Fiti.
- Rapunzel, symbolized by the sun, earth, and the Sundrop flower.
- Elsa and Anna, captured through shimmering ice and swirling wind.
Look closely and you’ll find plenty of hidden details and tributes to Disney history—including a hidden Mickey and a waterfall inspired by the famous Walt Disney Pictures castle that opens every Disney film.
